Getting Started

First time user? Here’s what you will need to order software:

Students
Faculty and Staff


Students

  1. You will need your University Network ID (uNID) and Password to complete an order. If you have questions about or problems with your uNID and password, please call the Campus Help Desk at 801.581.4000.
  2. You will be able to purchase discounted software licenses using a credit card. Please be aware that:
    1. You must be a member of the U community (student, faculty, or staff) to purchase licenses from Software Licensing.
    2. Student or faculty/staff personal academic licenses are for your personal computer and may only be installed on your computer.
    3. Student academic licenses are to be used only for academic purposes.
    4. Student academic licenses may not be installed on University computers.
  3. To place an order, select "Shop for Software" in the left menu.

Faculty and Staff

  1. You will need your University Network ID (uNID) and Password to complete an order. If you have questions about or problems with your uNID and password, please call the Campus Help Desk at 801.581.4000.
  2. You will be able to purchase software licenses using a credit card or Campus Order. If you use the Campus Order option you'll need to know the following:
    1. You will need the same accounting information and signatures normally required to fill out a Campus Order.
    2. A form will automatically be prepared for you. To print your Campus Order, your computer must have Adobe Reader installed (version 4.0 or later). Get the free download of Adobe Reader if you don't have it. If you have trouble installing Adobe Reader, contact your computer support staff.
    3. Forward the signed Campus Order to Software Licensing.
  3. To place an order, select "Shop for Software" in the left menu.
