Transition to Enterprise ID

These instructions will take you through the process of transitioning your Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app to the Creative Cloud Agreement using your Central Authentication Service (CAS) credentials ( and password.) 

If you do not have Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app installed on your computer, use the instructions for New Installation.

You should only start this process when you do not have an urgent need for Adobe products, as this will disable the use of Adobe products until the installation and update process is finished.

  1. If you have saved files and settings in the Adobe Cloud, save them on your local computer before you transition to Enterprise ID. For instructions on how to do this, see Sync and share files.
  2. If you have Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app installed on your computer and you are signed in, open Creative Cloud desktop app. If you are not signed in, go to the next step.
    1. Click on the profile icon in the upper right corner and click on Sign out.
    2. If prompted to confirm you want to sign out, click on Sign Out.
  3. Sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app using your
    1. Enter your in the space for Email address.
    2. Click on Sign in with an Enterprise ID.
    3. If you have a personal Adobe ID account with your email address, choose to sign in with your Enterprise ID.
  4. Type your uNID and password in the spaces provided and click on LOGIN.
  5. If you are a student, you can skip this step. If you are an employee, complete the 2 Factor Authentication process (2FA-DUO Security or 2FA-RSA SecureID depending on which 2FA service you use). 
  6. You should now be able to use the Adobe software and install additional apps (including older versions).
  7. You may need to accept the Terms of Use to activate the apps.
