Copilot is an AI-powered assistant that helps you draft content, analyze data, and work more efficiently across Microsoft 365 apps.
How to Get Started
- Sign in:
Go to https://www.office.com and sign in with your university account. - Use Copilot in your apps:
Copilot is available in the following apps (look for the Copilot icon ✨):- Word – Draft, summarize, or rewrite documents
- Excel – Analyze data, create formulas, generate insights
- PowerPoint – Build presentations from prompts or documents
- Outlook – Draft and summarize emails
- Teams – Summarize meetings and chats
- Access Copilot Chat:
Visit https://copilot.microsoft.com while signed in with your work account for enterprise chat capabilities.
Tips for Success
- Be specific with your prompts (e.g., “Summarize this document in 3 bullet points”).
- Review and edit Copilot responses before sharing.
- Avoid entering sensitive or restricted data unless approved by your department.
