Power BI Premium Instructions
Power BI allows you to create interactive reports and dashboards, analyze data, and share insights across your team or department.
Getting Started
- Go to Power BI Service
- Sign in with your uNID@utah.edu email address and CIS password
- Navigate to your workspace or select My Workspace to get started
What You Can Do with Power BI Premium
With Power BI Premium, you can:
- View and interact with advanced reports and dashboards
- Access larger datasets and enhanced performance
- Share content with others across your department
- Use advanced features such as paginated reports and AI capabilities (if enabled)
- Collaborate within shared workspaces
Optional: Power BI Desktop
If you will be creating or editing reports:
- Download Power BI Desktop from the https://powerbi.microsoft.com/desktop/
- Install the application and sign in using your uNID@utah.edu account
- Build reports and publish them to Power BI Service
