Power BI Pro Instructions
Power BI enables you to create and share interactive reports and dashboards, collaborate with others, and gain insights from your data.
Getting Started
- Go to Power BI Service
- Sign in with your uNID@utah.edu email address and CIS password
- Select My Workspace or access a shared workspace to begin
What You Can Do with Power BI Pro
With your Pro license, you can:
- Create and publish reports and dashboards
- Share reports with others and collaborate in shared workspaces
- Connect to a variety of data sources and build visualizations
- Schedule data refreshes for your reports
- View and interact with content shared by others
Optional: Power BI Desktop
If you will be creating reports:
- Download Power BI Desktop from the Power BI Desktop download page
- Install the application and sign in using your uNID@utah.edu account
- Build reports and publish them to Power BI Service
