Getting Started - Office of Software Licensing

You will need your University Network ID (uNID) and password to complete an order. If you have questions or problems with your uNID and password, please call the Campus Help Desk at 801-581-4000.
You can purchase discounted software licenses using a credit card. Please be aware that:
1. You must be a member of the U community (active student) to purchase student licenses from Software Licensing.
2. Student or faculty/staff personal academic licenses are for your personal computer and may only be installed on your computer.
3. Student academic licenses are to be used only for academic purposes.
4. Student academic licenses may not be installed on University computers.
To start an order, select Software Catalog.

You can pay for software licenses purchased from the OSL webstore using a credit card, Purchasing Card (P-Card) or a UShop Purchase Order. If you are using the UShop Purchase Order as a payment method, please review this information - How do I submit a UShop Purchase Order?
Please be aware that:
1. You must be a member of the U community (faculty, or staff) to purchase employee or university licenses from Software Licensing.
2. Employee licenses may not be installed on University computers.
3. University licenses may not be installed on personally owned computers.
4. Adjunct faculty, affiliates, contractors, emeriti, retirees or volunteers are NOT eligible because they are not included in the license agreements.
